This blog is going to be everything applicable to my interests. I have always been craning my neck toward the sky dreaming that one day I would live there. Back in middle school, I had taken my first flight. I had taken two flights, one from San Francisco to Pheonix, then Pheonix to Cedar Rapids. This was a huge turning point in my life since this was the point that I finally made the decision to continue with my interest in Flight Operations. I then began to look into colleges around my hometown. Internship opportunities, scholarships, phone numbers, emails, information letters in the mail began to pill up all around me. In the early years of my high school career, I had already planned out the next six years of my life. I knew exactly what classes I needed to take in order to reach my goal and I had a fairly good idea of which college I wanted to attend. Recently I had taken two visits to the University of Dubuque. This university is absolutely perfect to my interests. Between having a beautiful campus, friendly staff, and a fabulous Aviation program, there was no way I was deciding otherwise to not attend the university. My application, transcript, and ACT scores are already sent in and I am only waiting for the nerve racking moment when I receive a letter from them in a few months. Hopefully all goes well and I will be able to begin my long journey of becoming a professional airline pilot!
